Lifeline is a story about an unexpected friendship formed from the weirdest place on earth to create happy memories – a hospital treatment place.

A teenager named Chiara feels stuck and depressed at her treatment place as she thinks people her age could have done so much better life experiences rather than stuck in a hospital with her stupid roommate.

Her roommate Fei Fei is an extraordinarily cheerful and colorful little girl who has a vivid imagination, often doing crazy things around the room – which annoys Chiara even more.

One day, Fei Fei gives Chiara an easy-baked cake that she made with love and passion. Even though it’s hard to admit, Chiara is touched. As time goes by and the seasons are changing, they start to bond very closely.

One night, they have the most incredible experience of living life to the fullest – bringing their imagination to reality from nothing more from the little things and gratefulness.

This story is meant to inspire the audience to appreciate the tiniest little things in their lives that we often take for them granted. With the representation of simple characters, we can experience and revisit the question of what makes life so meaningful.
