Atlas II
“Atlas II” is an annual retreat event of an Indonesian Catholic Youth Organization based in Melbourne called Mudika Melbourne.
It is a continuation project from Atlas I, as the previous project has not come to a fully rounded ending as the pandemic unexpectedly hits Melbourne in mid of March 2020.
The concept of Atlas II’s retreat is similar to Atlas I: to find one’s selves discovery through faith. The biggest challenge in this project is the event is held online. Gabriella Hanna contributed as a short film director, production coordinator, and content creator to attract the target audience to produce engaging content, including an event trailer, social media content, and event documentation.

While managing the production from different countries, the story is crafted quite simple yet represents what people nowadays have in the massive lockdown environment, where we usually just lie on our desks for hours. Sometimes it is essential to go outside once in a while, reconnecting with ourselves. In the uncertain times where we often feel ‘lost,’ little things such as the self-reflection process can align with one’s self-discovery journey.
