Mudika Melbourne
Mudika Melbourne is a vibrant Indonesian Catholic Youth Organization in Melbourne. It is a warm-familial community where people can share their faith journey, stories, interest, and talent through our events and projects.
With many passionate members from different cultures, we are always excited to explore many colorful events and projects, including musical events, recreations, retreats, and short film festivals.
With high-intensity energy from Mudika Melbourne, Gabriella Hanna passionately works along the team to fulfill their fast-paced need as a social media manager, content creator, media production coordinator, and public relations.

One of Mudika Melbourne's biggest challenges is reaching the event's objectives, attracting a target audience, and searching for new committees for re-generation, especially as Melbourne's sudden pandemic strikes at the beginning of 2020. The uncertain period creates the vibrant organization in extreme challenges to maintain the same energy level to attract people amid uncertain times.
Also, as everything goes online, there are challenges in communicating within the team to produce creative assets and production to create Mudika’s promotional assets.

We develop a strategy to make relatable short form and long-form content to make the audience feel connected, such as podcast, IGTV quarantine series, and IG Stories “a day in my life” vlogs to encourage people that they are not alone in these situations.
We focus on maintaining a constant interaction in social media with the audience to be a safe community to gain interest in the audience to join and get involved more in Mudika events.
We also come with a strategy to reach audiences by making projects and event that is fresh and fun yet rooted in Catholic Faith. For example, we are creating an online collaboration event between Mudika Vancouver and Seattle, a Talk Show that discusses international students' mental health in the pandemic. The event gains a significant amount of new audiences and fresh new faces that are potential for Mudika Melbourne's future generation.
Furthermore, to ease communication challenges within the team, as a creative team’s coordinator, Gabriella Hanna implement the mindset of trust and task delegation so the team can work independently and in the group to produce the best products and projects.
